Katherine Usher
Katherine has over a decade of experience in relaxed performances: she delivered the first ever relaxed performance in the West End in 2012 and has continued to produce and consult across the West End and the UK since. She has worked in theatre, film and arts education since 2008 and previously worked with young people with autism in school and non-school settings. She has operational and delivery experience across a range of sectors and is a psychotherapeutic counsellor.
We have a combined experience of over 20 years working with neurodiversity in arts and cultural spaces.
Katherine and Chris worked together as consultants on a number of shows and when they both went freelance in 2019 the idea for A Relaxed Company was born, became a reality in 2021 and became official in 2022.
We know that the idea of relaxing a show can be a daunting prospect, and many people worry about doing or saying the wrong thing, by working with us we can give you the confidence to produce amazing content with, and for, neurodivergent talent and audiences.
Whatever it is you’re looking for, we can help. Get in touch for a chat.
